THE GENESIS

It started with something as simple as a catchy title: Yeti with a Machete. Who wouldn’t want to see that? It’s just so crazy, it might work.

Fueled by a passion for ’80s action and horror classics like Tremors, The Thing, and the iconic Indiana Jones adventures, the filmmakers have set out to craft their own electrifying feature. Their mission? To capture that same pulse-pounding thrill and pure fun that defined these cinematic legends.

THE CREATURE

As they delved into the concept of a movie about a Yeti wielding a machete, a clear vision began to take shape. This wasn’t just about paying homage to the creature-feature classics they adored; it was about reimagining the genre itself. Yes, the villains are obviously Nazis—but the Yeti? This time, the Yeti is the hero: fierce, intelligent, and determined. Forget the lumbering creatures of past films. This Yeti is a force to be reckoned with, carving its own path as a true legend. Harry and the Hendersons this is not.

THE STORY

In the remote, snowbound wilderness of Canada, a chance encounter between an ice fisherman and an unknown cryptid sparks a frenzied race to find the elusive creature before it vanishes back into myth. Leading the charge is Amanda Boggs, a Crypto-Anthropologist determined to prove the Yeti’s existence. With a ragtag team of Americans, she ventures deep into the frozen wilds, unaware that they are on a collision course with a group German mercenaries tasked with capturing the specimen alive.

The truth is, the Nazis had long been fascinated with the occult. In 1938 Heinrich Himmler actually sent a team of SS scientists to Tibet to search for the Yeti believing it was a race of Aryan uber-hominid.

The German mercenaries, with the secret records from this expedition, are hell bent on capturing the Yeti alive. Fueled by dark myths of Aryan “über-hominids,” the mercenaries, led by the formidable Dr. Hans Gruver, bring brutal firepower and unrelenting obsession to the chase. But the Yeti they seek is not the monster they expect—it’s a powerful, intelligent creature, driven by a fierce maternal instinct to protect its family.

When the Germans ambush the Yeti, killing its mate and capturing its cub, the grief-stricken creature teams up with Amanda’s crew in a desperate fight for survival. Together, they confront the mercenaries in a showdown of blood, ice, and primal courage. Amanda’s maternal instincts and the Yeti’s unstoppable fury combine in a battle that reveals the true nature of heroism, exposing who stands for good and who embodies pure evil.

In a final clash of brawn, heart, and bone-chilling resolve, Yeti with a Machete delivers an unforgettable tale of vengeance, survival, and the unbreakable bonds that defy human understanding. The Yeti, once a creature of legend, emerges as a guardian, fighting for family and freedom against humanity’s darkest obsessions.
